JOIN PTA!
PTA was founded on the principle of advocacy, and continues to fight for the future of every child. Your membership adds to our strength and ability to lobby for local, state and national issues!
If you are also able to volunteer, you can have a direct impact on activities and programs at Prep, and be more involved with your child's school experience!
Every child. one voice.
CHCPPTA's mission is to make every child’s potential a reality, by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.
125 Years of National PTA’s Legacy and Impact
This year, we are celebrating the mission and work of PTA. It’s a celebration and a rededication of impactful advocacy for the betterment of all children. Our founders were women of vision and passion. They refused to accept the status quo 125 years ago, and so we must consider, what would they think of our work today? We won’t rest on our laurels—join us in our efforts to take their dreams into the future.
Congratulations CHCPPTA for being awarded a 2nd grant from National PTA in the amount of $1,000 to host a Family Math Night in partnership with Mathnaisum!
National PTA is committed to providing families hands-on exposure to science, technology, engineering and math to educate and inspire students to explore career possibilities in STEM through Math Nights, sponsored by Mathnasium.
The STEM + Families Math Nights program aims to:
▪ Empower children of all backgrounds to become interested in STEM education and careers
▪ Help children explore math at their own levels through games and activities
▪ Involve families in a fun, enjoyable shared math experience
PTA’s vision is for all students to have the family and community support they need to access and pursue opportunities and careers in the STEM fields. Watch this video from National PTA President Anna King who will introduce you to Math Nights, including Mathnasium and their involvement in our STEM + Families initiative:
Collegiate Prep PTA is thrilled to announce that we have been awarded $1,000 in grand funding, sponsored by Office Depot OfficeMax, to implement the National PTA Family Reading Experience program to connect families with resources within their school communities. The goal of the program is to help expand student access to books and diversify libraries at home, in school and in the community. We are planning to roll out our Reading Program in the spring, so stay tuned!
