Wishing you and your family a joyful holiday season filled with safety, fun, and unforgettable memories. See you in the New Year!
Thanks to YOUR generosity, on December 11th we delivered 𝟭𝟯𝟬 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘁𝗲 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗸𝗶𝘁𝘀 to Cedar Hill Shares today! They were beyond grateful for the support, especially during the holiday season, as these kits will help feed families across our community.
Our goal was to provide meals for 𝟭𝟬𝟬 𝗳𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀, and because of YOU—your food donations, monetary contributions, and big hearts—we surpassed it! Together, we’ve proven that small contributions from many can create a BIG impact. THANK YOU!!
🎉 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗡𝗲𝘄𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆! 🎉
We’re thrilled to announce that our PTA has been awarded a $𝟭,𝟱𝟬𝟬 𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗻𝘁 from National Parent Teacher Association & AT&T to launch the 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆, 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵, 𝗚𝗼! program this spring! 🌟
This family engagement initiative is designed to:
📱 Help families reflect on 𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 and digital habits.
📱 Provide 𝘁𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲𝘀 to navigate digital life with confidence.
📱 Share ideas to build a 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝘆 𝗱𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗵𝗼𝗺𝗲 for kids and parents alike.
💬 Earlier this year, we surveyed our school families, and here’s what we learned:
•72% are 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 to 𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗱 about digital device use.
•Families want support with 𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆, and 𝘀𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗯𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀.
•While many parents feel comfortable setting limits, 85% are interested in learning more about digital safety and responsible tech use.
Our 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆, 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵, 𝗚𝗼! program is here to address these needs and empower our families! Stay tuned for details about our spring workshops. Together, we’ll create a safer, healthier digital environment for our children.
