You're invited to CHS's spring musical, Cinderella. We'd love to see students, faculty, staff, and community members in the audience! Please help us by spreading the word about our family-friendly spring musical:

Carrboro High School Theatre continues its Spellbound Season with the Rodgers & Hammerstein’s 1957 musical, Cinderella. This classic fairy tale is brought to life with charming songs, lively dances, and a comic band of characters that create magic from start to finish. The students have been hard at work both on stage and behind the scenes to bring this childhood favorite to life in a whimsical Victorian world. You’ll be rooting for an earnest Prince Christopher, played by senior Daniel O’Grady, to find the kind-hearted Cinderella, played by senior Caroline Smith. Millie McGuire (11th), Margaret Hubacher (12th), and Avery Hutcheson (12th) are the characters you love to hate as the Stepmother and stepsisters. No production of Cinderella would be complete without the Fairy Godmother that we all wish we had, played by junior Ally Millar.

When: March 16-18, 7:30 PM and March 19, 2:30 PM

Where: Carrboro High School Auditorium 201 Rock Haven Rd. Carrboro, NC 27516

Ticket Prices: $5 for students and $10 for adults, free for CHCCS Faculty/Staff

Cast/Crew List

Here are some outside of school theatre/acting opportunities.

Find Your Light is a fun, low-pressure way for youth to become involved with, learn about, and gain experience in musical theatre. We aspire to create a welcoming atmosphere for both students and faculty to grow as artists!

The program will take place on Saturday afternoons at The ArtsCenter from 11am-2pm, and run from September 17th-October 29th. Each week, members of UNC Pauper Players will lead students in combining fundamentals of dancing, singing, and acting to learn group numbers representative of the musical theatre genre! The last workshop will consist of a casual showcase for family and friends.
