Charmo University: A panel discussion was held about the uprising and its glory
On Tuesday, 7-3-2023, with the attendance of each of Asst. Prof. Dr. Hallat Rashid, the president of Charmo University; the members of the university council; the mayor of Chamchamal district; the director of the offices, and the representative of the political parties, a panel discussion was organized by the Center of Genocide Studies/ the Center of Charmo University for Research, Training, and Consulting with the assistance of the director of The Anfal Monument in Chamchamal, the panel was titled: The Uprising and Its Glory.
After the presenters and the attendees observed a minute of silence for the martyrs of Anfal, Mr. Ramak Ramazan, the mayor of Chamchamal district, presented a speech and thanked the organizers of the event. Later, Mr. Habel Ahmad, the director of the Anfal Monument, gave a speech on behalf of Charmo University, he stated that this was the first collaboration between both institutions and they are working on more projects. The panel was moderated by Ms. Shokhan Muhammad, a doctoral candidate, with each of whom as an assistant; Prof. Dr. Aras Abdulrahman, Dr. Nicola Ashraf, Muhsin Muhyiddin, and Latif Fatih, gave their speech on the achievements of the uprising in 1991 and the legal opinions of the revolution. At the end of the event, the families of the martyrs were honored with a certificate of appreciation.
