In the warmup I was given a drawing similar to one on the right to recreate. I used several tools in fusion such as Cylinder, fillet and draft.
through the help of a drawing and the tools learned in the last unit I was able to design this Bike Rack. the Rack was designed in sketch and with the use of the sweep tool to make it 3D.
The one of the main focuses of the unit was Technical Drawings which are drawings of 3D designs that are usually used as a blueprint for a design. They usually have multiple angles with all possible measurements needed.
The other main focus of the unit was the design process of technic Lego pieces. The one on the right was designed with the help of a provided technic drawing. It wasn't very difficult the only issue was the spacing for the technic holes in the middle of the piece.
For a big portion of this unit I designed the Lego piece on the right into Fusion. It was a very monotonous task that difficulty mainly came form the spacing of the technic pin holes. From there I had to make a Technical Drawing of the Design with all the needed measurements to be shared with a partner.
On the far right is my partner Wilsons technical drawing of his Lego Piece. I used several unique technics to get the unique shape of the object. The only issues really I ran into was the spacing and shape of the center which took me several days to figure out. From their I attempted to create a similar drawing of the Lego. It isnt perfect but all the lengths are the same.
For the final part of the project we had to find a tutorial to design something and then make a technical drawing. I chose a Pokeball and the only issue was following the pace of the tutorial.
