About Mrs. Wald
This is my tenth year teaching music and fourth year at Drayton Hall Elementary. I have a Bachelors in Music Education from Winthrop University and a Masters of Music Education from University of North Carolina at Greensboro. My husband is also a music teacher, and together, we call Johns Island home with our son, Sullivan, and doodles, Fritz and Saluda.

Our grant for "Science of Trombones: Visualizing Pitch" is being funded by Toshiba America Foundation! This $1000 grant will allow us to purchase a class set of pBuzz instruments, which are the brass family equivalent to the woodwind family's recorder!
