To be recommended by the AIM Research Team for incubation through the CEIP, an idea must be:
Subjected to rigorous research. In most cases, this is done by the AIM Research Team itself based on processes discussed here.
Viewed to clear a certain high bar across our evaluative criteria. In some cases, an idea will do notably better in some requirements than others and be recommended based on the cost/benefit considerations of the decision-making team.
The AIM Research Team is pragmatic and opportunistic about the source of non-profit intervention ideas. We aim to evaluate all ideas against the same evaluative criteria; we do not exclude ideas based on their inability to be part of a specific process alone. Currently, there are three ways an idea can become recommended for the CEIP:
Through our research rounds.
Through recommendations from trusted collaborators.
Through CEIP applications by individuals with their own ideas.
