As a student I will:
always wear my school uniform in the correct manner
bring the right equipment to school
attend school and lessons on time everyday
achieve 100% attendance each week
listen to my teacher and study hard
complete classwork to the best of my ability
write all homework in my diary, complete my homework and hand it in on time
behave well in and outside of school, follow the school rules and observe the code of conduct
comply with any sanctions
seek help should I feel it necessary
attend Parent Consultation evenings
take all correspondence home to my parent/carer
actively participate in as many extracurricular activities as possible
Students will be asked to agree to the above via their Arbor profile.
As a parent/carer we/I will:
send my child to school in full school uniform
ensure my child has the right equipment for school
ensure that my child attends school on time every day
inform the school when my child is absent
not request leave of absence for holiday purposes
encourage my child to always do his/her best
ensure my child does his/her homework
encourage my child to have high standards of behaviour at all times
support the school if sanctions become necessary
let the school know if there are any issues likely to affect my child’s learning
attend Parent Consultation evenings
read all correspondence from the school and reply if necessary
be aware of information contained in the handbook for parents and school policies
support events in which the school is involved
actively encourage my child to participate in extracurricular activities
Please go to the parent portal on Arbor and consent as agreement to the above.
As a school we will:
insist that school uniform is worn as appropriate
ensure your child knows what he/she needs for lessons
record and monitor attendance
reward excellent attendance
teach effective and engaging lessons
provide a balanced curriculum and meet the individual needs of your child
set appropriate work which challenges your child which is then marked regularly
set challenging and appropriate homework on a regular basis
encourage students to take responsibility for their behaviour, show respect and foster positive relationships
inform you of any concerns or sanctions when necessary
listen to and respond quickly to any concerns in order to support your child
hold annual Parent Consultation evenings
report regularly on your child’s progress, attendance and punctuality
inform you of events in which the school is involved
inform you and your child of the activities that are open to them
