Christian Grace School of Cavite believes in the educational philosophy that education is life itself. It is an instrument for the mental, spiritual, physical, moral and social development of human being, thus, becoming a prime mover in nation building that will benefit not only himself but the rest of mankind.
This institution is committed to develop learners to be academically competent, excellent in Filipino positive values, inner-directed, globally conscious, locally active and creative through highly effective educational strategies; and to constantly search for knowledge and truth.
The school shares the realization of the vision of the Philippine educational system by providing quality education geared toward the holistic development of an individual into a world-class learner and leader who is:
•imbued with good ideas and Christian values for mutual understanding;
•equipped with basic technical and career skills to affect social transformation; and
•responsive and committed to protect and preserve the environment through the pursuit of sustainability that promotes good public health and safety.
In 1981, Christian Grace School of Cavite, formerly known as Kiddie School was one of the projects assisted and funded by World Vision International (WVI), a non-government organization providing livelihood, medical and educational assistance to indigent families in the depressed areas in the Philippines. By 1993, community development in the area had been achieved thru college education assistance and self-reliance among the sponsored families.
Statistics shows that the project’s 482 sponsored students were able to graduate from college. After assessing the situation of the project that it could now stand alone, WVI decided to phase out the project in the area until the end of the School Year 1992 – 1993 to be able to open other projects in nearby depressed communities in the region. Left with only one room day care center, then administrative Officer, now the School Administrator, L.V. Ferrer consulted the School Board for a better school system. She spearheaded the process of SEC registration and changed the name Kiddie School to Christian Grace School of Cavite on March 17, 1994 and began thereafter the tedious process of preparing the recognition requirements of the Department of Education.
Through the initiative and assiduousness, the first phase of Government Recognition in the pre-elementary level has been awarded to the school by the Department of Education on May 20, 1996. Next was the awarding of Government Recognition of the Elementary Course on November 5, 1997 and the Complete Secondary Course on March 20, 2002. By providing quality education at reasonable fees, the enrolment has continuously increased tenfold. As of 2016, Christian Grace School of Cavite offers K to 12 basic education programs, with each student in Senior High School can choose among these four strands: Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics (STEM); Accountancy, Business, and Management (ABM); Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS); and General Academic Strand (GAS).
Through the grace of God, the understanding and unfailing support of the Board of Trustees and the concerted effort and efficiency of the Administration; the School Director and School Principal in running the school operation, the school shall continue to provide quality education to its studentry and uphold its mission, philosophy, vision and objectives.
