The 2015 Braves claimed the first league title for Council Grove Football in 9 years as they finished in a tie with Lyndon (the two opponents did not play each other). The 2015 team was known for their balanced running attack out of Coach Teichgraeber's flexbone offense. The team achieved a school-record 499 rushing yards in a game during the season. A talented senior class led the Braves to a dominant season against league opponents (5-straight league wins). All-League/HM All-State honors from the team went to Hunter Cowdin, Keegan Honas, Trey Langvardt, Paul Lamberson, Peyton Lerner, and Braden Reddick. The Braves outscored league opponents that year 167-76.
