REX SCHOLES - C/O 1911

Rex Scholes was on the first All-State Kansas team ever. Although listed as a halfback on the team, he played primarily at the quarter position for the Braves. He led the Braves to a claimed State Title, the only one in school history, during the 1910 season. There is little to no individual statistical information from 1910, but it is obvious that Scholes was the leader of the most accoladed team in Council Grove High School football history.
