Kevin was one of the top players on the Braves first ever state-qualifying team (earning HM All-State honors that season), and is one of very few Braves to be a multiple time All-Conference player collegiately. He graduated as one of the best defenders in school history, finishing in the top 10 in career tackles and single-season tackles. His highest tackling total came in the 1973 season when he had 150.
