EUGENE GOFF - C/O 1975
LB/OL
Eugene Goff once had 31 total tackles in a single game. This is a school record that likely will never be broken. He accomplished this against Hillsboro during the 1973 season. In the following season, Goff earned Second Team All-Class 3A honors at the position of linebacker. He and teammate Kevin Gant were the fearless leaders defensively of the 1974 state-qualifying Braves.
Goff was also an All-CVL selection on both sides of the ball both his junior and senior seasons. His decorated career included him having the 8th most career tackles all-time and the 9th most in a season. He is one of three Braves to appear twice in the top-15 tackling seasons in school history
