His final game saw a 329-yard, 5 TD performance against the State Runner-Up Silver Lake Eagles. He also broke the single game All-Purpose yards record that season against Herington with 363 yards. He became the 4th Brave ever to earn Top-11 honors of any kind. His ability to play both running back and slot receiver led to his offensive statistical success. In his career he racked up 2,950 rushing yards, 1,172 return yards, 814 receiving yards (former record), 41 total TDs, and 248 pts. As a defender, he forced 6 turnovers (2 INTs, 4 FRs) in his career and had 1 defensive TD. He played a "slash" role through his 4-year varsity career as he started at least one game at the following positions: RB/TE/WR/DE/FS/CB. Reddick was the first "3-phase" All-State player in school history as he earned first team or honorable mention in all 3 phases of the game.

"Derron is the best back I ever coached. He was so athletic and had skills for a running back as good as anyone. Derron worked incredibly hard in the weight room and always was a leader. Derron was a great defensive player as well. Special teams are so important, and Derron made plays and made other teams regret kicking to him. In the Silver Lake playoff game, Derron kept us in the game with one of the best performances of a high school football player I ever saw. Although he was talented on both defense and offense, his kick returns were outstanding. I will never forget how Silver Lake kept kicking to him as he kept returning for touchdowns. He kept us in a game nobody thought we should be in."
