D. MOORE - DWIGHT C/O 1966

HB

Accolades:

D. Moore was Honorable Mention All-Kansas for the 1965 season. He played a big part in the Dwight Rockets becoming State Champs as one of their starting halfbacks. His blend of strength and speed made him a lethal threat in the Rockets backfield. His senior year he gained the following statistics (some yardage is estimated):

His statistics were quite impressive given how much he had to share carries and receptions with others on the team. He was often taken out of games at halftime because Dwight was winning by such a large margin.

In his final game, the state championship, Moore rushed for 111 yards on 8 carries. He also had 3 rushing TDs and scored 19 of the Rockets 100 points that day.
