December 2024
The month of October brings a lot of fun with learning. We are focusing on math in art and ela in creativity and crafting. Students have been trying their hand at different board games and fair play during some of our enrichment time. Some of our students chose to make ornaments to put on the district Christmas tree in the bubble. Our drama club continues to work hard toward finishing their play. Due to a scheduling conflict we will be postponing our family event until January 16, 2025
November 2024
The month of November brings a lot of fun with learning. We are focusing on math in art and ela in creativity and crafting. Our drama club has started working on the play they will perform for our family night In December. We will continue to rotate student choice clubs this year. We had a field trip the the CMU STEM Lab where students learned about coding with fun robots as well as creating items to solve real world problems. We had our first Esport tournament where students who participated were able to show their skills while making friends with others from different schools in our district.
October 2024
The month of October brings a lot of fun with learning. We are focusing on math in art and ela in creativity and crafting. It is so fun to tie different things together while making learning fun. We also started our weekly clubs that students have signed up for. We have drama club, esports and cooking club this month. We will continue to rotate student choice clubs this year.
September 2024
We started off our new year of SPARKS with some stem projects that allowed team building as well get to know you math bingo. We have got an awesome group of kids this year and we are looking forward to what the year has to bring.
Our middle school students had read a story about Harry and how he was traveling and the day was coming to an end... Harry needed a shelter/home... They created Harry and his home using a big variety of differing supplies... We've got some very creative kiddos.
Summer 2024
We wanted to share some fun we had this summer... We went to the Wildlife Ranch and it was very fun as well as we got so see some pretty cool animals. The hike was quick and made us work up a sweat. We even got to see some deer.
We went to the Surrey Township Library each week to try our hand at differing projects. The best part was the books that they gave all the students to read and keep. We had group reading and discussion time.
One of our trips was to 4x Adventureland. We had a good time golfing, go carting, eating ice cream, but the best part was making memories that will last a lifetime.
