2026 Cedar Falls Cross Country
Location
Saturday's meet is located at Oak Ridge Middle School/Lowe Park – 4901 Alburnett Rd. Marion.
Bus Departure
Bus departure will be 6:30 AM from the high school. Pickup will be by the track. Athletes should arrive by 6:20.
Food
The team will pack snacks (granola bars, pre-race snack) and a sports drink along with some water for each runner. It is important that athletes bring food for breakfast and post-race food if they want more to eat after their race. It is okay for athletes to go into their race a little hungry, but they need to fill up their tank after.
Spectator Parking
No fee is listed for parking but it is always safe to bring some cash.

Course Map
The 5k is one large loop around the school property. Bring your jogging shoes.
Schedule:
Two races for Saturday with all athletes competing in combined races.
9:00 Girls 5k
9:30 Boys 5k (All athletes 9-12 will run in one combined race)

Live Results. Awards will recognized for top 3 for each grade. No team awards for this meet.
After the Meet
Juniors will be in charge of setting up the team camp and tear down. Make sure athletes return their timing chips in the cart prior to leaving the meet. If you are planning to take your athlete home after the meet, there will be a sign out sheet in the RED CART. Just sign next to your child's name. Athletes may only ride with a parent/guardian.
