Head Coach - Brett Egan                                                                

The 2026 season will be Coach Egan's fifth season as head coach. Prior to serving as head coach, Coach Egan was an assistant coach at CF for two years and previously the head 7-12 girls coach at Waukon High School.

Assistant Coach - Michael Goodenbour

As a graduate of Cedar Falls, Coach Goodenbour returns to the high school program serving as an assistant coach in the 2026 season. As a runner, Coach Goodenbour had a successful prep career competing on the 3rd place 2020 cross country team and moving on to become a national qualifier while competing at Wartburg College. Goodenbour currently serves as a math teacher at Holmes Junior High. 

Volunteer Assistant Coach - Jeff Hartman

Coach Hartman is returning for his second stint as an assistant cross country coach. Coach Hartman previously served as the Head Men's track and field coach along with assistant coach under Coach Becker. Coach Hartman has coached Drake Relay's champions, state track team champions and state cross country champions.

Volunteer Assistant Coach - Jeff Burris

Coach Burris has helped with the program for many years. His kids graduated from CF schools, with his son being a part of the 3rd place team in 2020. 

Volunteer Assistant Coach - Scott Gall

Coach Gall served as the head coach at CF for four years and is continuing to help the program. Coach Gall will serve as the head girls cross country coach in the 2026 season.
