Mrs. Williamson English I

Welcome to Cy Woods High School and to my English I Horizons or ESOL class. I have been a classroom teacher and ELAR/ESL curriculum specialist for 20+ years and was honored to be recognized as the Cy Woods Teacher of the Year 2018-19. This will be my fourth year at the Woods, and I'm so looking forward to it! I have two children, both of whom are Cy Woods alumni. My daughter will graduate in December with a BS in Biology from UH-D, and my son was a member of the Fightin' Texas Aggie class of '17---WHOOP!

Being a high school freshman is an exciting time, and I'm thrilled to share the ride with you. We have a lot of terrific literature to read, writing to create, and ideas to share. No doubt this is going to be a most spectacular year for us all!

Planning Time: 7th Period (1:48-2:40)

Tutoring Time: Every Wednesday 2:40-3:20

Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 2:40-3:20 (as needed)

Most mornings from 6:45-7:10
