About Me

I am a graduate of Stephen F. Austin State University. Ax 'em Jacks!!! I have taught for 26 years, and I taught at Hamilton Middle School for 8 years before becoming the librarian there.  I received my master's at Sam Houston State University in Library Science and am in my 7th year as librarian opening Sprague MS!!!  I'm so excited to get to know all the students here and working with the teachers!

My husband is a minister in Katy, and I have a daughter, Kaitlin, who graduated from University of Texas at Tyler and is in the college program at Walt Disney World.  I also have a Yorkshire Terrier, Riley.  

I love to read and want to instill the same love for reading in my students.  I look forward to working with you and your child this year.
