Welcome to the Thornton Middle School Library!

This is my fifth year as a librarian here at Thornton Middle School.   I completed my undergraduate degree at Texas A&M University.  I was an elementary school teacher for 18 years.  I recently finished my graduate degree at The University of Houston-Clear Lake in 2019.  My goal this year is to ensure that every child finds themselves in a book and learns to love all that literature can do for them.  I want to help create the poets, authors, scientists, and world leaders of the future.   I will share strategies to help students and teachers learn to properly research and become life-long learners.
