Mrs. Rivera's Class

My name is Mrs. Rivera and this is my 11^th year teaching. I really love teaching kindergarten and incorporating music to make learning fun! This year your child will learn to read, write, and develop problem-solving skills.

I graduated from the University of Houston (Go Coogs!) where I met my husband Ruven. We have two wonderful sons, Gabriel who is 11 and Isaac who is 9. We have a very playful Labradoodle named Teddy and a Maltipoo named Buddy. We currently reside in the Cypress area.

Some of my favorite things to do when I am not teaching are have play dates with my friends and their children and spend time with my family. I also love singing and dancing!

I want to instill a love for learning in my students. I strive to cultivate a family like environment in our class. I look forward to a wonderful school year!
