About Me
Hello, my name is Guadalupe Munoz-Aranha, I'm very excited to join the Spanish faculty at Cy-Woods. I was born in Mexico City, but I lived in Norman, Oklahoma for 30 years . I graduated from the University of Oklahoma (Boomer!) with a Bachelors in Business Administration and a Masters in Spanish. I have been a teacher for over 20 years. I was a Graduate Teaching Assistant in Spanish at the University of Oklahoma for 5 years. After graduation, I was an Adjunct Professor of Spanish for 3 years. Then, I taught Middle School Spanish in Edmond, Oklahoma and a year later, I moved back to Norman, Oklahoma. For the past 11 years, I taught ESL (English as a Second Language) in the Oklahoma City Public School District . My husband is from India and we have two children . Our son is a Sophomore at the University of Oklahoma majoring in Civil Engineering. Our daughter will be a 4th grade Rocket at Robison Elementary . This summer our family moved to Cypress, Texas and I'm very happy to be part of the Cy-Woods family.
