The deadline to get your senior photo taken in the yearbook has been extended to Jan. 7. Students can go to the CADY studio between now and then, or on Jan.7 students can be photographed on campus. After Jan. 7, students photographed by CADY will not be in the yearbook. Sign up via CADY.com.
Your Child’s Attendance and Success Matter to Us
At our campus, attendance is more than a number—it’s a foundation for achievement. Each time a student misses class, they lose 53 minutes of direct learning, discussions, and hands-on activities. Along with that, they can fall behind on 1 to 3 assignments, making it harder to stay caught up academically.
We know that life can bring challenges, and Communities In Schools (CIS) is here to walk alongside your family. Whether your student needs academic support, encouragement, basic needs assistance, or help navigating obstacles that impact attendance, we are committed to ensuring every child has the opportunity to succeed.
Attendance today builds success tomorrow. And you don’t have to do it alone—CIS is here to assist every step of the way. Contact CIS at ctr-erica.jordan@cfisd.net or ctr-ajala.mcgregor@cfisd.net

Dear Parents & Guardians,
A new Texas law (House Bill 1481) requires school districts to prohibit student use of all personal communication devices during the school day. Therefore, Cypress-Fairbanks ISD is updating its personal communication device policy.
For the 2025-2026 school year, the use of all personal communication devices is prohibited during the school day. Devices must be turned off and stored in the student’s personal bag or backpack at all times during the school day.
CFISD has created a Personal Communication Devices Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) to address some of the implications of this new policy. Please review the content of this FAQ with your student(s) prior to the start of the 2025-26 school year.
Sincerely,
CFISD Student Services
