Katherine Beck

Katherine Beck is the Division Director for Performance Reporting at TEA, leading the Communications and Policy, Accountability and Reporting, and Performance Based Monitoring teams.  She has spent her career in education data reporting, research, and accountability.  Prior to TEA, she was a district leader in an urban school district, where she designed, implemented, and regularly engaged with stakeholders to improve the accountability system.

She has a passion for communicating complex information like methodology, student performance gaps and trends, and system level insights with clarity and with a purpose for learning and improvement.
