Bob Perkins is the Head Swim and Water Polo Coach and will teach AP Statistics this year at Bridgeland High School.

He is a graduate of the University of Texas, with B.S. Petroleum Engineering and Masters in Business Administration degrees. After 20+ years of industry and business experience, working with management consulting companies like Ernst & Young, Deloitte, and PeopleSoft/Oracle, he transitioned to teaching 13 years ago. Prior to joining Bridgeland, he taught Geometry and AP Statistics at Seven Lakes High School in Katy ISD.

On the swimming front, Coach Perkins has been involved in swimming all of his life, competing at the high school and briefly the college level. Prior to BHS, he coached two private high schools in the Houston Area, St. Thomas HS and Duchesne Academy, summer league teams, and masters swimming programs. Additionally, he actively participates personally in swimming and competes regionally and nationally.
