Below you will find classroom expectations and requirements for my classes. Each class has a separate course calendar which has all assignments, projects, and due dates. Please make sure you look over this carefully and turn in assignments in a timely manner! The files for each assignment can be found by merely clicking on the assignment and going into the details.

Classroom Expectations

Students are to behave according to the code of conduct of the school. Students will be expected to be to class on time, turn in work on time, and to treat everyone in the classroom with respect. There is to be no food brought into the classroom. Students who are eating food/candy will be asked to throw it in the trash immediately.

Attendance and Tardiness

Students who are late to class will be marked tardy. Consequences will be those of the administration of the school. Students need to be on time! Because of the nature of these classes, students are expected to be in class on a regular basis. The software used can be expensive so most work will be completed in class. If a student must be absent from class, he/she will need to come into tutorials to make up the missing work. Students get one day for every day missed. Please see the school policy on late work. Students will NOT be given class time to make up the work.

Computer Rules

Students are expected to follow the technology guidelines of the school. Absolutely NO GAMES are to be played on the computers at any time. Students found violating this will receive a referral to the office. Internet is only available for the specific sites used in the assignments. Students found on sites not assigned will be asked to close those sites. If a student does this a second time, the student may receive a referral. Students will NOT use any software that could by-pass the firewall. Any student found using such software will receive an automatic referral and may lose computer privileges.

Personal Electronics

I am asking for students to NOT have their phones out during class unless I specify otherwise. It is important to stay on task and concentrate on the lessons/assignments for the day. Students will be asked to keep phones in their backpacks.
