Thank you for those of you that contacted me to let me know you were not able to view the Science DPM Review. I believe it should work now. There is a new link to the PowerPoint under the Homework tab. Please let me know if you have any other issues and thank you for all you do!

Our next Science Test will be on Wednesday, October 24th. It will cover Weather, on study guide pages 37-45. We have NOT done the practice questions in the study guide on pages 42, 43, 44 or 45. All of those pages have great practice that would be beneficial in helping them be successful on next week's test.

***I will be giving $20 PAWS Bucks out to any student who brings those pages back completed with a parent signature (anywhere on one of those pages--42-45).

Thank you for working with your child and as always, please let me know if you have any questions!

  • Science Curriculum -

this includes upcoming test dates and study guide pages for each unit.

Each student received their own Science Study Guide on 9/6. It is theirs to keep up with and bring to class daily. Please help me encourage your child to review the material that has been covered in class. Studying can be very overwhelming if they wait until the night or two before a test to study. Even 5 minutes each night looking over what was covered in class that week can be a HUGE help! We will complete FAQ's (Formative Assessment Questions) in class to help us prepare for the DPM's, which have some higher level thinking questions that require application of skills and concepts.

Please don't hesitate to reach out to me with any questions or concerns!

  • Newsletters from Mrs. Puente, our Dyslexia/Reading Enrichment/Read180 teacher. She is FABULOUS and has lots of great information to share from her newsletters and website!

ALL Parents-

The planetarium will be coming to Hamilton in November. It's an exciting time to be able to take the students in there and explore the constellations, moon phases, seasons and more!

If you would be interested in purchasing your child a Planetarium t-shirt, they can be ordered through the link below through school cash online. They will be available now through October 6th, for $10 each. No cash or checks will be accepted; they can only be ordered online.

Thanks for all your support!
