Hello! My name is Mrs. Cantrell, and I’m proud to be returning for my second year as the school counselor at Good Elementary. I’m entering my 8th year in education, and it’s truly an honor to continue supporting the amazing students, families, and staff that make up our Good community.

I have a deep passion for helping young learners discover their strengths, build confidence, and develop important life skills that will serve them now and in the future. As the school counselor, I work with students from Kindergarten through 5th grade, partnering closely with teachers and families to support both their academic and social-emotional development.

My goal is to empower each student to grow into a confident, capable leader by nurturing skills like communication, problem-solving, self-awareness, and collaboration. Whether it’s through classroom lessons, small groups, or one-on-one support, I strive to meet students where they are and help them thrive both in and out of the classroom.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of North Texas and my Master’s in Professional School Counseling from Angelo State University. I'm so excited to continue bringing my energy and heart for children into another wonderful year at Good Elementary.
