Digital Learning Day 2018

Last year was the first time CFBISD staff celebrated Digital Learning Day as a district. We can't wait to celebrate with you again! This year, Digital Learning Day is on February 22nd. Take time on that day to engage your students or staff in digital learning.
New badges are now available on the Game On CFB website under the Events tab to recognize our instructional staff who celebrate digital learning across the district.

Leaderboard Update!
Central, Perry, and Creekview are still ruling the leaderboard for the third month in a row, with each claiming over 200 badges. Which campus will take on the challenge of earning enough badges to overtake these reigning Game On CFB champions?
We awarded 51 File Conversion badges in January! Coding was popular this month, with so many participating in the Hour of Code, the Code Captain badge overtook the Event category. Twitter continues to dominate for the most popular communication tool.

Have you used tools like Kahoot!, Quizizz, or GoFormative with your class or staff? The Fun With Formatives badge series explores a variety of formative assessment tools like these. Try 2 to become a Beginner, or try 5 to become a Finisher!

February Twitter Challenge
Love is in the air! For this month's Twitter Challenge, we are taking it way back- to your first digital learning crush! What was a digital learning tool, game, website, or technology piece that captured your heart at first sight? Was it a Talking Whiz Kid laptop or coding the perfect layout on MySpace? Maybe it's playing FarmVille on social media with friends. One DLS' favorite childhood digital learning game was Super Solver's Treasure MathStorm! Playing this for hours in her school's computer lab helped facilitate her love for math.
