I'm a children's book author from Virginia. I never outgrew my love of children's books, so I'm lucky that now I get to share the joys of books and writing with children from Mobile to Maine, from Columbia to California. You might have seen my books in the occasional Scholastic Club flyer or Scholastic Book Fair.
Pierre Collet-Derby is an illustrator, author, animator and character designer based in Kingston, Ontario. Born and raised in France, Pierre spent most of his childhood doodling (particularly during math class) and always knew he would grow up to make his living as an artist. Happily, he now spends his days drawing pictures, writing stories and learning to play jazz on his clarinet.
