Donation of Silent Auction Items Makes a Big Impact
Each year a majority of the funding for the Bethlehem Food Bank is raised through the annual Empty Bowls event where a simple meal of soups, breads, and desserts are served and the many people attending participate in the Silent Auction. Unfortunately, the Pottery Bowls will not be available for guests this year, so the Silent Auction becomes even more important.
Though many reservations are sold for the event, it is the Silent Auction that raises the majority of funds for feeding Bethlehem residents who suffer from food insecurity. Last year, the auction alone raised over $4,200.
For many years, generous donors like you have made the Silent Auction a success. Each year, the need for food increases, and this year is no exception.
