What is a CQI Assessment?

Measuring adaptability to Japanese companies

You can demonstrate your ability to adapt to different cultures and cultural fit. You will be able to judge how well you can adapt to a Japanese company's unique work culture.

Analyze characteristics and behavioral trends

You can understand your habits of thought and behavior. Things that you have noticed up until now will be expressed and visualized as numerical values, giving you new insights.

What kind of results will I get?

The CQI test mainly measures cross-cultural adaptability and cultural fit capability.
The overall assessment is scored from A to F. Each item is rated from 1 to 6, analyzing aspects such as cognitive ability and behavioral tendencies.

FAQ

Q. Is the CQI test only set for Japanese company adaptability? Is it not set for companies apart from Japan?

A. Yes, the CQI test is only set for Japanese companies and Japanese work culture. It is NOT set for companies and work culture apart from Japan.

Q. Was the CQI test developed specifically for foreigners?

A. The CQI test was developed for foreign citizens who are expected or are looking to work in Japan. Hence, if a Japanese national citizen takes this place, the data may not be completely accurate for them.

Q. Will I be unable to work in Japan if my final grade on the CQI test is poor?

A. Please acknowledge the CQI test results for only reference. We would strongly suggest to look at each result and recognize your own strengths and weaknesses instead of thinking that a bad result implies that you are not suitable for working at a Japanese company. We would like you to look at the results from the perspective of seeing if there is any room of improvement for you adaptability.

Q. How long does it take to finish the CQI test?

A. You can answer all the questions in 5-10 minutes. Please answer each question honestly and intuitively. If you think too much about each question, it will take up a lot of time.

Q. Can we take the test in another language?

A. Yes! You can take the test in any language of your preference. Please select your preffered language when you take the test.

Q. What is the process of applying for the CQI test?

A. Firstly, please register yourself by filling out the required information in this registration form.

1) After completing your registration, we will send you the payment instructions via email.

2) After confirming your payment, we will send you CQI test instructions via email.

3) You can take the test as soon as you receive the email.

4) Once you finish taking the test, we will send you the results by email.
