Dates: Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays

Time: 2:45 - 3:30

Grades: 5, 6

Welcome to the CHMS 2019-2020 Season of the Running Club. This club is for students who are new to running or just getting going again with running. All that is needed is an interest in running. The club will meet 3 times per week on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 2:45 - 3:30 pm.

Proper stretching and running techniques will be covered. Practices will be until 3:30. Students may take the late bus home if needed.

What to Bring

  1. Comfortable clothes to run and move in
  2. Sneakers
  3. Water bottle
  4. Healthy snacks such as:
  • yogurt
  • Peanut butter or almond butter sandwiches with natural fruit jam
  • Turkey and/or cheese wraps cut into 1-inch slices for easy finger food
  • Low-fat string cheese and mini pretzels
