CHMS XC

Fall 2024 Season

We are looking forward to another great season of running at Camels Hump. Mr Jensen will again be coaching the team this year along with Ms. Alex McAleer. Ms. McAleer is an avid runner and a parent of a 7th grade member of our team.

All XC participants must have had a physical within the last 2 years. This year the athletic registration is on line (ArbiterSports) where you can upload a copy of your physical.

To register, you will need to create an account on ArbiterSports and register your athlete.

There will be an organizational meeting the first week of school which we encourage anyone to attend who might be interested in joining the team. It is tentatively scheduled for Thursday, August 29th after school until 3:30. Listen to announcements the first week of school to confirm this date. The first practice is Tuesday, September 3rd.

Cross country at CHMS is open to 6th - 8th grade students at CHMS. For more information on the XC Team, see the Program Information link.

CHMS usually offers a running club for 5th graders and other students who prefer shorter and fewer practices. The running club typically starts a couple weeks into the school year. If there is someone to coach the running club, information will be communicated through the school newsletter.
