Operation christmas child 2019
Thank you to all the staff, teachers and students that participated in Operation Christmas Child this year. There were 98 boxes packed. We had over 40 students come and participate. It was a great afternoon.
Thank you to Mr. Corsaut and all the MH students who helped make this happen! 🎁
Choral students enrolled in Warrior Sing, Melodia, and Voce are rehearsing for the 10th annual Singsational! performance on November 19 at Central Valley High School. Dance and Advanced Dance students will showcase holiday-themed dances at the Winter Dance Performance on December 11. All band and choral students are practicing for the Winter Concert on December 17. Our Fall and Winter performances represent a long-standing Ceres tradition which serves to remind us of the inportance of the arts to our students' education.
A message from Mr. Smith:A missed school day is a lost opportunity for students to learn. Students who attend school regularly have been shown to achieve at higher levels than students who do not have regular attendance. This relationship between attendance and achievement may appear early in a child's school career.
Meet our Warrior Support Staff
Every month we feature our staff and this month we are proud to feature our paraprofessionals who work with students in various ways to ensure students are academically successful!
Thank you Ms. Priscilla, Ms, Stacy, Mrs. Sterling, Ms. Sarah and Ms. Edith!
Morning drop off and after school pick up is a busy time of the day. Please be sure to drop off/pick up in the designated areas and keep the red zones clear. Students should not be dropped off in the middle of the street as this could be a danger to their safety.
Together we can keep our students safe!
Mae Hensley Warriors are encouraged to get involved in our school clubs! Clubs are a great way to help develop character skills that will benefit students in school, career and in life.
Skills like commitment, leadership, effective communication, and being able to work successfully in a group all come from participating in a club.
Join a club and GET INVOLVED!
