​Hello, my name is Kalen Garrett. I am entering my fourth year of teaching here at Centura Public Schools. I graduated from Concordia University, and played football there. I am also in the Army Reserves and have been deployed twice.

Outside of the weight room and sports, I like to hunt, fish, and spend time with my family and friends. My wife, McKenzie, and I recently had our first child in April. Her name is Emmerie and she likes to keep us busy, but is an absolute blessing. To round out our family, we have a miniature goldendoodle named Maverick, and a lab named Remi.
