Workshops can be a great way to help members familiar with
As the head moderator for the EA Forum, and someone who's spent hundreds of hours thinking about what makes a good post, Aaron Gertler has run several virtual "writing workshops" -- for people who want to write posts, or think that they might want to write posts. This often involves a quick brainstorming session and then 1:1 chats with people about their ideas, in front of everyone else, which meant everyone got to learn from those exchanges.
Aaron is open to running these with groups that ideally could have at least five attendees. This could mean:
Big virtual workshops where one group hosts, but the invitation goes out to a lot of people
Smaller workshops where only participants from one group attend)
If you'd potentially be interested in running either type of workshop, email aaron.gertler@centreforeffectivealtruism.org.
(for newer EAs - ? steal Oxford's maybe and see if it is interactive enough?)

Naomi Nederlof - EA Geneva
Collaborative event, focused on participants supporting each other with their career planning by exchanging feedback and tips.
Works for groups ranging from 5 to 100+ people and for people relatively new to EA to people who are very familiar with the ideas. The activity works best when people have a first draft of their career plan, but you can reserve time for creating a career plan at the start of the session as well.

Dewi Erwan - EA Cambridge
This is a 4–5 week career planning programme, loosely based on 80k’s career planning article
It involves weekly 2 hour discussions in groups of 4–5 on various aspects of career planning, such as individual’s cause prio, brainstorming long-term paths, fallback options, and systematizing the feedback collection process
We believe this is most valuable to members of the EA community who’ve already thought quite a bit about their cause prioritisation, as having some vague idea here is important for coming up with a plan, and generally takes a long time (often months to years) to develop

Happy for you to reach out to me with any questions or thoughts at dewi@eacambridge.org
Many groups have run self-care workshops with their members. We've included a guide about running these here.
