GROUP COUNSELING

A variety of small groups are offered to students who may benefit from spending some extra time developing social or emotional skills along with their peers, and to students who are coping with similar life situations. Groups can have anywhere from 3 or more members and usually meet once a week for several weeks. Common counseling groups include, Self-Control Group, Friendship Group, Grief Group, and more. Student groups are created to meet the needs of the individual school sites and their unique student population. Parental/guardian counseling consent is required for student participation in counseling groups.
