For this first series, I was inspired by my love for old family photographs. In this series, I recreated photos that I found in old family albums, trying to balance the meaning I saw in the original photograph with the emotions I felt from each picture.

In this mini-series, I decided to attempt a medium that was then new to me, collage. Through these collages, I have tried to create works that express my own emotions and feelings about the world around me using almost entirely already existing images and text.
