This is my black and white drawing, it is 12' x 18,' and the drawing is of a picture I took when I was in my multimedia class last semester. This is actually one of my favorite photos I've taken, so I got excited to draw it. I think the genre of this type of art is called realism, but I personally think that the frog looks a bit derpy, but hey, I think for me it looks pretty good. The basic process of making it was putting the picture into this filter thing called get funky, which helped simplify what I was drawing. Then I had to get a graph for drawing it because it helps a lot with all the more intimate details. It took me a very, very long time to finish this drawing, especially all the crap in the background. I do remember I was stressing on the eye separation and how it was gonna end up, but I think I ended up doing a pretty ok job on it, especially the Left eye.
This is my still life project, which is not very good. I wish I could redo this project because it's honestly kinda bad. This 9' by 12' drawing started by making a red sketch of this random cluster of stuff on the table that we had to draw out with a red colored pencil. We then, after doing that we switched to an actual pencil and drew it again, and then, after doing it that second time, we had to draw 10 different lines all over the page. We had to use pastels and color each section a different color. We then had to put random marks on top of the colors. and then go back over those lines with a Sharpie.
