Drawing I

"British Isles Collection"

"18x24"

(2023)

-Logan Jess-

At first, the main idea when creating this collection was to create all the flags that make up the flag of Great Britain. This process, at first involved me hand drawing the dimensions with a ruler and a pencil. After the guidelines were done, I then filled it in with two different types of scented markers, red and blue with a little white to clear up the lines.

"4 Drawing Ideas"

Logan Jess

"8.5 x 12"

(2023)

My ideas when planning this were some of my favorite things, military vehicles, flags, and cars. It was created with a pencil and a piece of paper.

"8.5 x 12"

(2023)

Since this was sketch one, I didn't know what we were doing in here so I just drew a bunch of random stuff.

"F-35"

Logan Jess

"8.5 x 12"

(2023)

I was getting the jist of what we were doing in here so I drew the most modern piece of military equipment, the F-35.

"U"

"8.5 x 12"

(2023)

During the Figge contest creation, I created a drawing that looks like a "U", I got inspired by that and added some creative embellishes to it, and out came this piece.

"U"

This is the best of my printmaking design, the trio of them have been made fairly late and behind the rest of the class, but in the end I held out and finished the three good prints.

This is the second best of my printmaking design, the three of them have been made fairly late and behind the rest of the class, but in the end I held out and finished the three good prints.

The Great Wave

"8.5 x 12"

(2023)

I recreated "The Great Wave" because it was the only simple print I felt was actually art, not very political and captured what it was going for.

Sketch 8

"8.5 x 12"

(2023)

I created this drawing as I was thinking about the fast-forward button on video websites.  It pictures multiple arrows facing towards a large square with an X pattern on it.
