Painting

Chloe, Mayer "night moon"

16x20" Acrylic on Canvas, 2022

my first idea was to paint a night sky and add a buck and a wolf sitting together looking at the moon, things changed because i didn't have enough room on my canvas for the wolf and buck, instead i added a house and a tree.

the first struggle i had while painting this was getting the colors to blend, after i was able too then i had to decided where to go from there. i still stuck with the moon idea but changed where i was gonna put it, and i took out the main idea and replaced it with doing a tree and a home.

my first idea was to show that despite our differences were all equal.

the most difficult part was doing the house, i had struggles blending and making the house look like it had a shadow.

Chloe, Mayer "Avocado"

8x10" Acrylic on Canvas, 2022

I was really craving avocado toast or chips and guacamole at the time of this painting. I also had some comercial jingles stuck in my head. I am not done with this painting because I still need to paint the pit. I like how the 1st and 2nd layer blend together. I like how the colors are pretty good match. I struggled with making the right shade of brown for the pitt.

Chloe, Mayer "TV"

6x9" Acrylic on Paper, 2022

This is the observation study painting. I tried to match the colors and details on the card. The painting is in progress.
