Vision of Worship @ CCWC
It is to glorify and exalt the Lord.
It is to bring people closer to Him and recognize Him, His goodness and His presence.
It is to teach people more about the Lord and what the Bible says about worship.
It is to sing any kind or type of song - old or new - that brings people into a realization of the person of Jesus Christ. (We are not into singing one kind of song or singing music from any certain group. We will sing what is good with lyrics, what the Lord tells us to sing and what is touching the hearts of the people and allowing the Holy Spirit to move.)
It is to start off with faster music and then come into slower music - this is important for any church and is not an old way of doing things, but the best way to start off worship. (You must use the faster songs, not to emotionally charge people, but just to get their minds and hearts on the Lord...they simply need a couple of songs to get them fixed on Him and then they can start to truly worship the Lord...this is how the Lord wants us to do our services even if no one else does their services this way.)
It is all about following the Lord for your ministry and area.
It is to allow the Holy Spirit to move among the people - have an open altar.
Have prayer for the people. Allow the Spirit to touch the hearts of the people.
It is to be balanced and orderly.
