Welcome! This year I am teaching United States History and Government for grade 11, as well as Effective Participation in Government and Economics for grade 12. Students are required to pass all three courses prior to graduation. U.S. History is a full year course that culminates with the U.S. History and Government Regents Exam. Both Participation in Government and Economics are half year courses that have a locally created culminating assessment.
I graduated from St. Lawrence University with a B.A. in History and a minor in Education. I earned an M.A. in Secondary Social Studies Education from SUNY Potsdam.
In addition to my teaching duties, I am also the advisor for the Whiz Quiz team and the Varsity Softball Coach.
