About Sra. Cortes

Welcome to the Spanish Class page!! My name is Sra. (Ms.) Cortes. A little bit about myself: I was raised in NYC and moved to the north country in 2010. Although I’ve been here over a decade, I am not a fan of the extreme cold weather during the loooong winters. However, I do like the beautiful views of the countryside I get to see during my drive to work and of course my wonderful students. Now a little bit of my educational background: I have an undergraduate degree in Cultural Studies: Spanish Language and Literature; and a graduate degree in Education.  It is a great joy being a foreign language teacher and helping my students learn a new language. I am lucky and grateful to be part of the wonderful CCS community.
