Hello, and welcome to my school website page. This is my fourth year at Copenhagen and am looking forward to a great year and the opportunity to teach you. I graduated from SUNY Potsdam with a B.S in Geology and a Masters of Science in Teaching degree. While obtaining this degree I had the opportunity to work at a gold mine in Nevada, operated by one of the biggest gold mining companies in the world, Barrick Gold. I have been teaching science for 11 years and in that time have taught Physics, Chemistry, Advanced Chemistry, Astronomy, Anatomy and Physiology, Robotics and Earth Science. The states in which I have taught are New York, North Carolina and Vermont. I have made it a passion to take what I've learned at the gold mine and infuse that into my classroom. After all, what's the purpose of learning science if you can't do it outside of a textbook?

My passions include talking about budgeting money, investing, and getting your hands dirty physically to offset the mental work.
