9Welcome to 5h Grade!

This is my 9th year teaching at Copenhagen Central School.  I currently teach 5th Grade.  I received my Bachelors from Empire State College in Human Development and my Masters from Potsdam University in Early Childhood Education.

I enjoy spending time with my family and watching soccer, basketball, and baseball, and lacrosse games.  

Some of my favorite things:  coffee, reading, crafting, gardening, camping, and boating.

I am very excited to begin a new school year and feel very fortunate to have your child in my classroom.  Fifth grade is an exciting time as children embark upon new adventures in the world of learning.  My classroom will be one of learning, and excitement about learning.  Students will learn the important social skills to be used in and out of the classroom.  I am very excited to get started. I am a firm believer in keeping a strong, open line of communication between home and school.  After all, we have something so special in common, your child!
