The 6th grade students at Mountain View Elementary participated in the Young Innovators and Inventors Impacting the Future Today. They took a closer look at the world around them searching for ways that they as individuals could make a difference. 120 students created an invention, developed a marketing plan, created a sales poster, made a promotional video and created augmented reality. These are the 27 Semi-Finalists.

On Friday, March 31st the 14 finalists pitched their inventions to a panel of Catawba County Business Leaders. The 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners were announced at a special event attended by U. S. Congressman Patrick McHenry.
