About the Resource Program:
About the Resource Program:
The resource program is designed to meet each students individual learning needs and is based on your child's IEP goals and accommodations. Most students will be pulled out of their regular education classroom to work in a small group intervention setting. There may also be times where the resource teacher will push in to the regular education classroom to provide support. In addition to the small group intervention, your child may receive assistance from the resource paraprofessional. The following interventions are examples of some of the intervention programs that are being implemented: Key Math, Leveled Literacy Interventions, Super-Kids Reading Program, Visualizing and Verbalizing, Barton Reading and Spelling Program and Soar to Success Literacy Intervention Program. In addition, I work closely with your child's classroom teacher to collaborate on classroom modifications and in supporting him or her in the regular education curriculum. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns you may have about your child's participation in the program.
