- Absolutely yes! That is the beauty of this team: all students have a chance to learn more about competitive sports and to become leaders within an inclusive sports team. Some students may need more support, regardless of ability level, and together we will be able to support all athletes on the team.
Does my child need knowledge of basketball to play?
Does my child need knowledge of basketball to play?
- No. We do want our team to be both fun and competitive, so your child does need to have a desire to play basketball and a willingness to learn. However, but your child does not need to come in with a certain level of skill. We will all learn together.
What paperwork do I need?
What paperwork do I need?
- Students WITH a disability (intellectual disability or autism) will need this sports physical (English and Español) completed by your physician, due by January 10th.
- Students WITHOUT a disability will need to fill out a Class A application. Athletes can complete this during practice.
